Custom Group Management

In addition to using groups established by external sources (SIS, databases, etc...), you can create and manage custom student groups within Acorn. These groups can be used for teams, clubs, field trips, financial assistance, and more.

Prorates

By using Acorn, there is no need to manually adjust fees for late joins or early leaves. You can even set up price incentives for early purchases of items, such as yearbooks. Rules for specific fees can be defined globally, by term, or individually.

Financial Assistance / Waivers / Discounts

For students on financial assistance, Acorn can automatically waive selected fees. You choose which fees are affected, and the percentage of discount given to various student groups. Acorn allows you to effortless track the total amount of discounts given by fee, GL, department, or school-wide.

Adjustments

For special cases, you can manually adjust a fee on a student's account. Acorn keeps track of all adjustments for quick and easy reporting.

Manual Override

With all these automated features, you might be wondering about what to do about exceptions. Acorn gives you full control to manually override any of the features as specifically required by your school.
